In 2019 Tantamunay served as an ancestral bridger for the cocreation of a Mythology Film Project for the Shipibo History. This project was also to serve as the Masters Project for Brad Mccloud’s documentary film project.  Sadly on return to his home country the University position was that he, as a white man, could not make this film as only those from the culture could make this film. This position of ‘no cultural appropriation’ means that the Shipibo do not have their voice shared if they are not documentary filmmakers. Tantamunay are currently exploring other funding options so that this film can be made, we have the footage and we shall find the means…More to come
