Tantamunay Applies Tribal Wisdom to Modern Business.
Tantamunay began with a passion, and a dream: to not let ancient tribal (specifically Shipibo) knowledge be extinguished.
Rachel, the founder of Tantamunay, has spent six years (and counting) in the process of learning, talking, and living with Shipibo friends and learning about the beautiful culture – and their needs right now. She has sat with Mother Ayahuasca for four of these years, and dieted other jungle plants which have given her guidance on all of this work. The process with Ayahuasca and other jungle medicine has been transformational in her own journey – so much that she has dedicated her life in passion and service to Ayahuasca.
In her service, Rachel has facilitated Ayahuasca Retreats for four years (without pay). In addition, she funded the construction of a Retreat Center and helped to build it with her own hands. The aim of these acts of service were and continue to be: to make Ayahuasca accessible to all, and in a space that truly honors the plant.
Rachel is committed to the continuation of the ancient, powerful and authentic ways of the Shipibo lineage which has not been contaminated by the modern world of money. She aims to support the Shipibo and maintain the ancient truths of their culture. Rachel feels a strong service to Ayahuasca, and truth and integrity are paramount to her, ingrained in all that she does.
Tantamunay, Rachel’s vision from the start, applies tribal wisdom to modern business, bringing sustainable income to herself and into the homes of Shipibo women and families. Tantamunay aims to invest in community projects that ensure the tribal wisdom continues; and that those involved are empowered to share more.
Tantamunay aims to share cross-culturally – therefore passing down the ancient earth wisdom kept within tribal culture – and to tackle socioeconomic issues that have negatively impacted upon this natural wisdom sharing.
Tantamunay sees a world where business and nature can work in cohesion – where each person can be cared for and supported, and where the harmony of life stays in balance and with nature.

Rachel’s life mission is to ensure that indigenous wisdom is not lost forever and her life is deeply guided by this mission. She has spent many years learning about plant medicine with the Shipibo Tribe, and the plant spirits guide her life. She loves to sing, laugh and learn about people.
Kacie

Kacie is a Creator of many things within the Digital Realm. She loves Web Design, Video & Audio Production, Singing and more. One of her Greatest Missions in Life is to support others in their dreams blossoming online.
