A safe haven nestled within the mountains of Peru.

Close to springs, hiking trails, and a short drive to places such as Machu Picchu and Cusco, this place can be your home within the valley while you explore, prepare or integrate for your medicine journey, or simply need a place to rest.

You can choose a room simply for yourself and/or your partner in the Guest House, or a more singular & private experience in one of our Bungalows, with its own bathroom and fireplace.

In addition, we have daily offerings and excursions, such as a Spiritual Journey with our Andean Maestro.

Inner Healing with Nature’s Support:

Spiritual Journey with Andean Maestro

This Journey is one of self discovery guided by the Q’ero Maestro and the Host. Andean mysticism and Plant knowledge is deeply powerful for personal healing. Our Q’ero Maestro has a strong link with the spirit world and this is a full day of spiritual cleansing and the healing the accompanies that.

8 am:

The first part of the journey is to meet at the hosts house, nestled in the mountain surrounded by powerful Apu’s. Here we shall take some time to meditate and connect with ourselves and the Maestro.

A short walk away we shall sit in the Eucalyptus grove to begin the cleanse of our Spirit bodies with a “limpieza” a cleaning dispacho . This dispacho is then offered to the river so that any worries or concerns we have can be taken away.

The second part of the journey is to return to the hosts house, where we shall meditate with the Plant spirit best known to the Maestro, that of San Pedro. Should guests wish to further connect with this plant that is possible, but not necessary.

When the meditation is complete we shall climb the mountain to a powerful Incan ruins to connect with the Ancestors of the Maestro. In this sacred place he will sing powerful Ikaros to cleanse and heal the guests.

5 pm:

We shall return to the house of the host where another dispacho will be made and offered to the fire. To set the intentions for the new life. Guests are welcome to stay as long as needed.

I came to Rachel’s home through perfect serendipity perfectly in keeping with the vortex-like sacred space she holds. Deeply committed to her own spiritual journey she nevertheless offers a boundless generosity and love to all who find their way to her little temple. If you are on a medicine journey here in the Sacred Valley and need somewhere to decompress and integrate, or you simply need some time away from the tourist hordes this is the spot. It’s simple but comfortable and Rachel makes herself available for whatever kind of healing you need whether it’s to share your story, compare notes on the way or be left alone to your own process. Respectful and open and loving her place is a home away from home, an oasis in the nightsea, or just a lovely spot in a real neighborhood with a couple of affectionate dogs, one little indigo child, a curious cat, and a medicine woman who’s walked a challenging road but with a huge heart to show for it.

Rachel goes way beyond the usual host in helping with whatever you need. As we don’t speak Spanish, her help was essential. She’s also a wonderfully warm and caring person, which added greatly to our stay.
